During our second semester, one of our projects was to advertise an event called BioBlitz. The event itself consists of taking photos of plants and animals within a certain region, then uploading them to the iNaturalist website. The people there will then identify said plants and animals.
Our professor provided us with a collection of stock photos that we were allowed to use, so I picked one that fit the best for a poster. I used a mostly green color palette due to the event being nature-themed, as well as some being picked to match the color of the leaves in the photo.
We had to include the general information about the event, which I put in bubbles. I tried to keep the keep a visual hierarchy, where the most important element stands out the most. Followed by the rest, in a path from top to bottom and from left to right, the same way we read.
