Hey, welcome to the page that is (almost) all about me. Just as the header suggests, my name is Arsenii Kravtsov. I am an 18 year old, Montreal Graphic Designer attending John Abbott College.
Who I Really Am
Being completely fair, I am a pretty quiet and sometimes shy at first. But, when I get comfortable enough with those around me, I can get really expressive and talkative. I got into Graphic and Web Design due to my interest in digital forms of creative media. That interest maybe stem from the 3D animations I would make on Roblox back in 2021 and the digital art I would make on my phone and on my computer back then as well. In 10th grade, out of the various options for an art class such as Music or Acting, I decided to pick “Art and Multimedia”. That class was similar to a regular art class, but half of it was dedicated to digital media specifically. That is when I fell in love with Vector Graphics and Adobe Illustrator. I never thought that there was a program that would let you draw lines and shapes, then adjust them with pivot points and handles instead of erasing them and drawing that over and over again. I was always really obsessed with doing everything on a computer, which is why I immediately picked Graphic and Web Design for my college program.
Where Am I From & Where I Am Now
As I mentioned earlier, I am Ukrainian. To be more specific, we moved out from Ukraine to Canada back in 2014. I’ve attended multiple French schools before settling down West to Montreal. I picked John Abbott College because of the fact that it is a primarily English-speaking college. I also picked it because it had the Graphic and Web Design program in the first place, unlike Cégep de Valleyfield which was my second option.
When Did I Start & When Will It End
I started attending the Graphic and Web Design program since Fall 2025. This program goes on for 3 years, meaning I should graduate in late Spring 2028 if everything goes smoothly.
Why Montreal Graphic Designer?
I believe that Graphic Design is something I actually enjoy and have the potential for. It is something I have been really interested in for the majority of my life compared to other hobbies.
